One of the on going issues that has been brought up continuously over the past years, is the Paparazzi. Paparazzi are photographers who tirelessly follow celebrities in search for that money making shot. Whenever you see those shocking of pictures Lindsay Lohan flashing her "goods", It is the paparazzi who brought that to you. They are known as the people who explore our fascination with celebrities. But how far should the Paparazzi go? Is it fair to the victims who are being followed by them?
My answer to you is no. I think that the job of a paparazzi is just not acceptable. I mean, what person wakes up one day and thinks " Hey, i want to follow George Clooney around all day and take pictures of him." In fact, i feel that this job should not even be classified as a Career. This issue has caused many people to question the legalties of the paparazzis morals and profession. I just dont get the point. All the Paparazzi does is intrude on celebrities privacy and most of the time, harass them.I mean, whats so interesting about MaryKate and Ashley walking to their car holding starbucks cups?
Here is a video clip of Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale at a Mcdonalds drive through. Its amazing how their are dozens of paparazzi surround the two girls, even though they are doing nothing but ordering food. If you watch the beginning of the clip, notice the woman who looks straight into the car window of Vanessa's Side. If i did not know better, I would think that the woman was visiting a zoo. Its just sad to see such young girls go through this kind of thing every day. I can't even imagine the frustration I would build up.
Here is another video showing the extents that the paparazzi go. This clip shows numerous times Britney has been followed by the Paparazzi. In the middle of the clip you will see a part where Britney gets out of her car and gives the Paparazzi a taste of their own medicine. She brings out a professional camera and starts snapping shots of the" so called" photographers. Also at the end of the video, Britney is trying to take a picture of a mural, but the Paparazzi is in her way. She then starts cursing and at one point yells" I'm a person, Just like you!". I think this quote is dead on. This is the exact point we all need to get across. Celebrities are human beings, they need to live or atleast TRY to live the most normal life possible.
